FAQ — SC Skin Studio

Question 1

What should I expect at my first facial?

Accepted Answer

Your first visit begins with a thorough skin consultation so we can understand your skin history, concerns, and goals. We may also use skin imaging technology to assess your skin beneath the surface. From there, your treatment is fully customised — no two facials are exactly alike. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to complete your intake form and settle in.

Question 2

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly what your consultation is for. We never recommend a treatment without first assessing your skin. If you're unsure where to start, booking a Skin Imaging & Consultation is the best first step — it gives us a clear picture of what your skin truly needs.

Question 3

Should I arrive with a clean face?

Accepted Answer

You're welcome to arrive with or without makeup — we'll cleanse your skin as part of every treatment. If you wear sunscreen or heavy foundation, arriving with a clean face can help us get started a little sooner.

Question 4

How often should I come in for facials?

Accepted Answer

For most clients, we recommend a professional treatment every 4–6 weeks. This aligns with your skin's natural renewal cycle and allows us to track progress and adjust your plan as your skin evolves. More advanced treatments like microneedling are typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart as well.

Question 5

Is microneedling right for me?

Accepted Answer

Microneedling is an excellent option for clients looking to address fine lines, acne scarring, uneven texture, or overall skin rejuvenation. It is not recommended if you have active breakouts, certain skin conditions, or are pregnant. A consultation is required before your first microneedling session so we can confirm it's the right fit for your skin.

Question 6

What is OxyGeneo and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

OxyGeneo is a 3-in-1 treatment that exfoliates, infuses nutrients, and oxygenates the skin from within — all in one session. It's suitable for all skin types and delivers a visible glow with no downtime. We also offer OxyGeneo combined with RF (radiofrequency) skin tightening for clients looking to address laxity and firmness.

Question 7

Will I see results after one treatment?

Accepted Answer

Many clients notice an immediate improvement in radiance and texture after a single session. However, lasting skin transformation is a process — consistent treatments over time deliver the most meaningful, long-term results. We'll set realistic expectations during your consultation and build a plan that works for your skin and your schedule.

Question 8

How do I book an appointment?

Question 9

Accepted Answer
